What we do
Providing year-round sports, training and competition to children and adults with intellectual learning difficulties in Norfolk.
About Special Olympics NorfolkSpecial Olympics is a global organisation that provides year-round sports training and competition to 5.7 million children and adults with intellectual disabilities in almost 200 countries.
It is recognised by the International Olympic Committee as the third member of the Olympic family. However, unlike Paralympics (which is for elite disabled sportspeople), it is for all abilities and all ages. Special Olympics provides people with intellectual disabilities with opportunities to realise their potential, develop physical fitness, and experience friendship. Our work in Norfolk |
