Football is one of the most popular sports in Special Olympics, and there are lots of options to get involved in the game.
Session details
At the football coaching sessions, run by the Community Sports Foundation, players can take part in weekly coaching to improve footballing skills whilst boosting social skills such as self-esteem and confidence.
For the older footballers there is the opportunity to progress into one of the advanced disability teams.
Sessions are inclusive and available to all ages and abilities, with no previous experience required.
Children sessions Where: Carrow Park and The Nest, Norwich When:
The Nest: Tuesdays between 5pm-6pm
Carrow Park: Thursdays 6pm - 7pm
Cost: £3 per session
Adult sessions Where: Carrow Park, Kerrison Rd, Norwich NR1 1JB When: Thursdays, 7pm-8pm Cost: £3 per session
